Emerge was a participatory community installation at the Launceston Alive Easter festival to engage festival participants to consider what they would like to see emerge in their future.
Workshops leading up to the festival event provided young people an opportunity to be empowered to create hundreds of 'futuristic butterflies' as well as a wire and cling film cocoon shape.
This was done in collaboration with Teen Challenge Tasmania's to promote their 'Meaningful Art' therapy sessions.
A Facebook photo competition and scannable QR code added to the interactivity by directing participants to a digital feedback form on the Teen Challenge Tasmania Website.
The table was constantly seated for 4 hours with participants of all ages who engaged with costumed staff about their programs.
